NJAMHAA, the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies, Inc. is recognized as a leader in providing effective advocacy and legislative support to their members and the community at large. The association creates a face for the population of individuals with mental illness and/or addictions who often have no voice of their own. ACLAIMH is an association of 125 not-for-profit providers of community based mental health providers of residential and rehabilitation services for people who suffer from severe and persistent psychiatric illnesses. Clubhouses*

Foothold has worked with Clubhouses for over a decade. The particulars of being a Clubhouse separate them from the normal workings of a mental health or behavioral health organization. Clubhouse members are often very involved in their own care and in many cases, work at the clubhouse as well as receive services from it. This unusual arrangement can be a challenging environment in which to implement an electronic health record, but Foothold has had multiple successful implementations, including Fountain House.

Essential Learning

Dr. Culhane has become a strong supporter of our software and has partnered with Foothold on a proposal to provide a systemwide information system and concurrent population research.
